Tasmanian single malt distillery at 76 Shene Road, Pontville—presented by LARK as Australia’s oldest and most innovative whisky distillery and Tasmania’s only working whisky village on a restored 1800s estate with bond stores, cooperage and cellar door (about 30 minutes north of Hobart). Daily opening 10:00–16:00; production and site tours at 12:00 and 14:00 (about 45 minutes, including tastings). Hobart also hosts a historic Davey Street cellar door (birthplace of the modern Tasmanian whisky movement) and GOTHAM at The Still cocktail bar.
