Highland single malt distillery converted from a former cotton mill beside the River Teith, which supplies both process water and hydro power. Official materials emphasise traditional methods, an open mash tun and a uniquely waxy new-make spirit, bottled non-chill-filtered with no added colour. Distillery tours and tastings are offered.
