Peated Highland single malt distillery near Kennethmont in Aberdeenshire, sitting about 600 feet above sea level at the highest point of the Northern railway line. Founder Adam Teacher chose the site for rail access from Glasgow; process water is still drawn from springs on Knockandy Hill. The brand’s core style is lightly peated Highland malt.
