Craft distillery in Uig on the Isle of Lewis, founded by Mark Tayburn and established in 2008—the first legal whisky distillery in the Outer Hebrides in almost two hundred years. Abhainn Dearg means “Red River” in English. It produces single malt from barley grown within the Outer Hebrides, from field to bottle.
