Jack Daniel Distillery
Lynchburg, United States
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey distillery in Lynchburg, Moore County, Tennessee. Official history states the distillery was registered in 1866—presented as the first registered distillery in the United States—beside Cave Spring Hollow, whose cool, iron-free limestone spring water (about 56°F / 13°C) remains the production water source. Tennessee whiskey here follows sour-mash practice and charcoal mellowing associated with the Jack Daniel’s process. The Visitor Center at 133 Lynchburg Highway offers guided tours and experiences; the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and town of Lynchburg are part of the visit. Visitor Center open Monday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST.
