The official site currently states the distillery remains closed to the public due to staff shortage.

  Pitlochry Highland single malt distillery producing since 1798 and among the few 18th-century Scottish distilleries still operating. Water from the Allt Dour burn (from Ben Vrackie) is used with unpeated malt; the whisky is noted for rich, fruity character and is also a key malt in Bell’s blended Scotch. A visitor centre offers guided tours and tastings.
