Distillery by the harbour in Tarbert, founded by Anderson “Burr” Bakewell and opened on 24 September 2015. Conceived as a social enterprise to create multi-generational local employment on Harris. It began with ten staff and now employs nearly forty permanent people on an island of fewer than 2,000 inhabitants.
