Highland-border distillery unhurried since 1833, describing itself as Scotland’s slowest whisky distiller. Barley is only ever air-dried (never peated), distillation is prolonged in uniquely shaped stills, and casks are prepared for up to six years before filling. The site sits on Glasgow’s doorstep at Dumgoyne and welcomes visitors for tours and tastings.
