  Farm distillery at Rockside Farm on Islay’s north-west coast, established by Anthony and Kathy Wills in 2005. It grows its own barley on surrounding fields and practices traditional floor malting and peating on site; the 100% Islay / Rockside range is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at the farm as Islay’s only Single Farm Single Malt. Stills are described as the smallest on Islay, with long fermentation. A visitor centre is run on site.

  Victorian Islay distillery opened in 1881 by William, John and Robert Harvey on Loch Indaal. Mothballed in 1994, it was bought by independent investors in December 2000 and resumed distilling on 29 May 2001. It produces three single malt ranges—unpeated Bruichladdich, heavily peated Port Charlotte and super-heavily peated Octomore—matured and bottled on Islay, without chill-filtration or colouring. In 2020 it became the first Scotch whisky company to receive B Corp certification.
