Denmark’s best-known whisky distillery on the Jutland west coast at Stauningvej 38, 6900 Skjern. Founded by nine friends and producing since 2005, Stauning makes grain-to-glass whisky from local rye and barley grown near the site. Official materials highlight in-house floor malting and distillation in 24 small direct-fired copper pot stills. Core expressions include Stauning Rye, Smoke, Høst and Kaos.
